I am setting out on a new adventure. I will bring my camera (and tri-pod)with me everywhere I go and take pictures of random things I experience daily, but don't typically take time to enjoy. I cannot use any auto settings and I must bracket my exposures and photograph RAW. In doing so, I will learn even more about my craft. In a nutshell, I will see life completely through the lens of a camera everyday for a year. Honk or wave if you see me with my camera!!!

Life As I See It-Day 1
As a New Years Resolution (that I am planning to follow through with...unlike the weight loss resolutions) and in honor of a terrific movie I saw called Julie and Julia, I am commiting to carrying my camera and tri-pod with me everywhere I go on a daily basis and taking pics of my encounters. I am hoping in doing so, I will greatly improve my craft and in the process, I will collect some cool images along the way.
I have started a few days early because I am currently not working and quite frankly, needed something to do. I actually started yesterday, but didn't get around to setting up my Blog until today because I had to find out how to do it by asking Erin at Studio 103 in Howell, Michigan.
My first day, I went to Cohoctah to get my raw milk at Dairy Delight (it is truly the best) where I have a cow share. I took some pics of the cute cows waiting to get milked and some pics around town in Cohactah. I also took some sunset photos in Brighton.
Until tomorrow-
Shirley
