Day 40

Zip, John and Ellen's engagement session
I took this photo of Zip and then made an obnoxious noise to get him to tilt his head alittle, but he got so excited, he bolted toward the me and whacked his head into my lens...I am not sporting a super sexy bruise on my nose, but my camera and lens are fine... I love dogs!!! Never a dull moment.

John and Ellen on the farm outside of my studio...look at Zip in the background herding the horses.
The farm was the perfect setting for John and Ellen's engagement session, they fit right in here.
Day 40
The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

Today I was fortunate enough to photograph John and Ellen's engagement session. They are the sweetest couple, very madly and deeply in love. They brought their son, Zip for the session and he loved roaming the farm and herding the horses (and breaking my nose...thanks Zippy). Zip is actually thew reason we met. I met them in the parking lot at Costco in Brighton because they had seen my 'I Love my Austalian Cattle Dog' bumper sticker and asked me some questions about the breed (as they were soon adopting Zip) during our conversation, I found out they were getting married and here ya go...now I am photographing their John Deere themed wedding! I couldn't be happier, I feel blessed to have met them. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the session. I love my job.
And to make the day even more perfect, The Saints won the Superbowl!!! Woo Hoo!!!
Until Tomorrow,
Shirley
