Day 38

Hamlet meets Delilah (this is her temporary name, better than the name Taz)

This is Delilah!!! My friend Marilyn picked her up for me at the shelter. This was her last day to be adopted, we literally saved her life. She is now Hamlet's new house mate. Hamlet has been so terribly lonely since Corrina died. He was so happy to meet her, she was not quite as happy to see him.

Here is a pic of the Howell Fitness Center. Marilyn and Dale own it and they also operate Dori Dew Rescue. This is where I picked up Delilah. Thanks again Marilyn..and Delilah thanks you too.

Today we welcomed a new member to our family. Her name (for now, unless her personality states otherwise) is Delilah (we immediately changed the STUPID name the shelter gave her...Taz) Today was to be her last day on earth. If not adopted by the end of the business day, she would be destroyed. Thankfully, my friend Marilyn called me and told me about her, but unfortunately I had a 5pm. meeting and could not go get her...Marilyn to the rescue. She went and saved her and I later picked her up at the gym (Howell Fitness Center). Hamlet was so happy to have a feline companion in the house, but Delilah did not share those feelings. They are currently having a staring contest behind the sofa...they will soon be buds, but not soon enough for Hammy!!!
