Day 21

These trees were covered with snow and ice today and looked so beautiful. They were more beautiful in the morning, but I was at church in Detroit so I was unable to take pics until later. Still pretty though. I took these shots behind the Marriott and The Outback Steakhouse in Brighton.
These pics were taken by the Marriott in Brighton, it was almost sunset.

This was taken behind the Outback Steakhouse.
This was also taken behind the Outback
I love this pic.

These deer were in my subdivision...after allowing me to take a few pics, they ran away. Cute butt!!!
Deer in my subdivision. She has a beautiful face and just stood there letting me take her pics.
More deer pics...the neighborhood deer family!!!

This girl had asked for prayer and later got saved. This was a cool moment to witness...this moment could change her life forever!!! Tara's dad is the Bishop, his name is James Smith...he was awesome.
Another life changing moment...she was saved also!!! How cool.
He had asked for healing prayers.

He is an amazing singer with a beautiful, powerful voice. He has been given a great gift.
Day 21
This morning we went to Faith Outreach Ministries in Detroit on at:
14500 Greenfield Rd. Detroit, Michigan 48227 Telephone: 313-659-1990
My friend Tara goes to this church and her dad is the Bishop there. She has been inviting us for awhile now, but we just now were able to go. What a great experience it was. If anyone is looking for a really great, hands on worship center, this is it, fits right in with my Pentacostal background. Everyone there was so wonderful, even the boys enjoyed it!!! I wish Nichol and Janel could have come, they would have really liked it. The drive there was gorgeous as the trees were all covered with ice and snow and it was really foggy, but I did not have time to photograph them...BUMMER!!! I made it out later, but it had warmed up enough to not be as dramatic...such is life. As I pulled in my neighborhood, I was really excited to see some deer and they even stood there while I took their pics.
My favorite place for the week was Kevin's house!!! It was my favorite because I got to visit with and hold the hand of one of my dearest and most cherished friends. He is a warrior, fighting a brutal opponent and he has done so with grace and dignity. His spirit is strong and he still has a smile for his friends. Kevin is one of my favorite people and I left his home feeling loved and appreciated...that is how everyone should feel when they leave a friends home. I love you Kevin!!! XOXO
Until Tomorrow,
Shirley
