Day 5
Happy New Year
A new year...yay!!! A fresh start. Putting all the crap I experienced last year behind me and only keeping the good things with me. That will be my new way of life...learn from the bad things, but only keep the good things near my heart. The heart is no place to keep bad experiences or bad people, get rid of them, toss them. The heart is capable of so much, why rob it's potential by poisoning it. This is one of my resolutions, here are some others:
1. Drink less coffee (I really don't like this one, but too much caffeine make vertigo worse, so it's out of necessity)
2. Get myself better organized (this who know me will know what a monumental task this will be)
3. Keep Bessie (my truck) clean at all times (those who know me also know this will be difficult for me)
4. Find a church in Michigan that I love as much as my church in Kentucky
5. Go to spinning class at least twice a week
6. Appreciate my amazing family and the gifts they give me everyday.
7. Lose 30 pounds (everyone has this one, but I need it)
8. Achieve at lest 2 ranks in The Black Berets (http://www.blackberetdefense.com/)
I will keep you posted on any progress made.
I was still feeling the effects of my vertigo this morning so I pretty much spent the whole day taking it easy and watching movies in my bedroom. I had lots of company, Cindy Lou Hoo, Abel, Sophie (aka Birdie), Peetie and Shadrack. Mark brought me food in bed and yummy hot tea and warm compresses for my head and neck. I have to get better as Monday I have a big day of work scheduled. I am glad I am feeling s much better than I did yesterday. Thank you Jesus!!! I am afraid my photos from today will be dreadfully boring as I did not do much, but it's my life through my lens, the good, the bad and the ugly. Mark is testing for another rank in the Black Berets tomorrow, I wish him luck, I wish I were there to photograph it. He is doing so well and is so happy to be doing what he loves. My wish for all of my friends and family is that in 2010, they can begin to do what they love for a living. Happy New Year to all.
To new beginnings,
Shirley
