Day 30

These street signs in Spring Arbor reminded me of Kevin and Jesus...Noble and King!!!
Anyone who knew Kev also knew that he was a MAJOR John Deere fanatic..I love that about him!!!
Kev was also and MAJOR hot dog addict.
This reminded me of Kev because it is fun. Kev was so much fun.
Day 30
Kevin Anthony Hertz
May 3, 1995-January 21, 2010
Today Kevin was laid to rest in a beautiful celebration of his life. We laughed, we cried, we laughed more and we cried more. The police did a goodbye salute to Kev, where many different branches of the police were represented. There were at least 500 people who came to celebrate Kevin's life. His procession was over a mile long. What an amazing young man he was, the lives he touched, too many to count. Kevin's pastor said the most profound thing. He said, "Kevin taught us alot of things, but most importantly Kevin taught us how to LOVE!" This is so true, he made everyone feel loved all the time. Today, I took pics of things that reminded me of Kev. Kev loved John Deere, Michigan State, Hot Dogs, The Pistons and people, but mostly, he loved life and he lived his life to the fullest. Please keep Kevin's family in your prayers.
Until Tomorrow,
Shirley
