Shawna and Mr. H

Mrs. H really not liking The Red Headed Slut

A New Years toast with the preferred drink of the night, The Red Headed Slut

I don't drink this hard stuff, but this reminded me of my husband Mark...he could have been a pirate.

The name of this wine reminded me a very sweet young lady I know...Cassie the Cupcake Queen.

I like the name of this wine
NO MORE OOPS IN 2010

My Vertigo care package...the ear candle pics will be posted in a couple of days when I figure out how to take them while on fire...

Love this lion statue behind Hush (an awesome lingerie store in downtown Brighton on Main Street)

Front view of the lion statue behind Hush in Brighton. I love the way the snow melted down his face...he is beautiful
Sarah, Rachel, Nicol and Zack

My camera bag...I love it and it's 100 percent waterproof and on wheels. These are my favorite lenses, I use 5 lenses for everything

This is what I wake up to every morning...one of the many sleepy faces wanting to go outside to tinkle. This is Cindy Lou Hoo, she was rescued by an AMAZING woman named Marian from a cruel puppy mill in Tennessee

Day 4
New Years Eve! Kissing 2009 goodbye.
Dear 2009,
You pretty much sucked, I am so happy to see you go. ADIOS!!!
Dear 2010,
I have great expectations for you. I am anticipating greatness from you, please don't let me down.
Today I woke up with vertigo. One last gift from 2009, just to remind me how much it sucked. Anyway, this vertigo really blows (I will never think someone with vertigo is a wimp again) I made my way to the health food store to get my remedies (I had researched online and my nutritionist had recommended) they fixed me up and Robin (one of the owners at The Vitamin Store in downtown Brighton on Main Street) even gave me an awesome ginger lozenge to ease my tummy upset, and it helped. The Vitamin Store staff are absolutely amazing and if you need a terrific nutritionist, go there to see Shelly, she is truly amazing. While I was there, Zack (my oldest boy and now Fire Academy Graduate, top in his class...just alittle bit proud...) his adorable girlyfriend, Nicol, her sister Rachel and friend Sarah came to see me and wish me a Happy New Year. How sweet. I ate lunch with Mark at Lil Chef, but didn't take any pics because I think I could have to many Lil Chef pics...I then went to Meijers to buy some stuff for the parties we attended. It is not easy shopping, driving and takings photos with vertigo. I got home feeling super crappy and sick, made 3 dishes to take to the parties and Mark and I left. First party was at Danielle's house and it was "off the hook". We stayed long enough to watch numerous Red Headed Sluts being devoured. I have a cute pic of Mrs. H drinking one, she does NOT like the taste. We celebrated Tony's 29th birthday, ate some food and left to the next party at Dave and Cathy's. The ride there was killer, I was getting sicker and sicker. By the time we got there, I pretty much thought I was dieing. We were able to stay for about an hour before I had to go because I knew I was going to throw up. Made it home and then threw up all over my front lawn...and NO, I was NOT drinking either. Anyway, Mark put me to bed and I stayed there until morning. Ugh...Here is what I learned today: VERTIGO IS HORRIBLE and it is hard to take pictures when you have it, and 2009 really WAS a sucky year.
